Abstract

Symbolic Interaction study in this article analyze about pattern of communication Arabic Etnic and Sundanesse Etnic in Mut’ah merriage at Cipanas Cianjur. This study describing four the communication event where two communicative events is dawwir/ دور (looking) and Ittifaq / ات فــاق (agreement) explain the process of human trafficking in mut’ah merriage. Two communicative events is zawaaj /  زواج (marry) and talaq /  ق ا (divorce) showed weak position of women in marriage Mut’ah. Continuous interaction directly or mediated creating the relationships between individuals. Human communication based on the meanings about something to mutual understanding among such individuals. George Herbert Mead’s concept through language that people have the ability to be a subject and an object for himself on the pattern of communication in Mut’ah married with families of both. Generalized other’s concept of the patterns of communication between husband and wife with communities such asrelationship with khadamah, driver / guide, government the MUI and other communities. Nickname such as Jablay / JBL or Onta by society is a fact of implicit interaction in communities around the villa Kota Bunga Cipanas Cianjur. Abstract

Recognition the world to batik as the world cultural heritage belonging to Indonesia by UNESCO increase popularity batik. But the increase was not in balance to understanding of meaning philosophical in any motive batik, for example the use of batik by the community not in accordance with the designation on motive that is. Research aims to understand shift the meaning of elements batik Yogyakarta-Surakarta. Research questions submitted is how shift meaning on motive batik Yogyakarta-Surakarta? Research methodology used is analysis logician Roland Barthes. An object used in this research was batik Yogyakarta-Surakarta. Data obtained from observation to a batik Yogyakarta-Surakarta traditional and contemporary, book, journal, interview as well as from sources online. Output from the study will make a journal and a recommendations for institutions associated with the development of batik like: the government, Batik entrepreneurs and consumers.Key words: Batik, meaning, motif

Abstract

Teknologi mengubah landscape media secara kontinyu beralih basis online dimana pesan atau informasi didiseminasikan secara instan. Semua menjadi terbuka dan tidak tidak terbatas, maka informasi menjadi lebih bebas, menciptakan The Borderless World. Beberapa media massa mulai berkurang audiensnya. Surat kabar cetak mengalihkan usahanya dalam bentuk media online newspaper ataupun newsportal. Teknologi membawa perubahan yang simultan, media berubah lebih personal. Media online mudah diakses dan tersedia dalam berbagai kanal, namun membuat audiens terfragmentasi dengan suplai informasi meningkat. Pembentukan agenda media dan agenda publik kemudian berubah, memunculkan sebuah pertanyaan mengenai relevansi agenda setting dikaitkan dengan transformasi teknologi dan perubahan di masyarakat yang semakin dinamis.Keywords: Agenda setting, media online, media agenda, public agenda

Abstract

Program berita terkait isu politik dalam negeri pun dibuat tak kalah dramatis. Menggunakan lagu sebagai ilustrasi, pengucapan yang mendayu-dayu terkesan sinis dan tendensius. Seperti halnya saat masa-masa kampanye Calon Presiden 2014 seperti ini, pemberitaan di televise dikemas sedemikian rupa hingga kita sebagai penonton terbawa dalam suasana pertarungan. Berita-berita penting yang menyangkut isu public sering dikemas dengan gaya tabloid (tabloidisasi) yang ringan dan dangkal seperti pada program “Headline News” Metro TV. Hadirnya tabloidisasi kemudian membuat batas-batas antara quality pressdengan popular press menjadi cair.Gambaran mengenai tabloidisasi ini bisa dijelaskan dengan melihat proporsi yang termasuk komponen tabloidisasi, yakni dalam tulisan ini penulis menggunakan 3 unsur (Personalisasi, Sensasionalisme, Trivialisasi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Metro TV melakukan tabloidisasi pada berita mengenai Pemilu Presiden 2014 dalam program berita Headline News. Melalui 3 komponen tabloidisasi yakni (1) Personalisasi yang ditunjukkan dengan orientasi pemilihan topik berita yang lebih bernilai personal dibandingkan publik, (2) Sensasionalisme, pemberitaan yang dengan sengaja disampaikan secara provokatif atau dimanipulasi untuk “memukau” atau menarik perhatian pemirsa, (3) Trivialisasi, Dengan menyajikan data-data yang unik namun tidak memiliki relevansinya dengan pemilihan umum presiden 2014. Abstract

The high penetration of internetaccesses in Indonesia has impacted on media consumption among Indonesian children. Despite many potential upportunities, internet accesses among children also carry some risks of harm. Accordingly, it raisedconcerns, especially deal with childrenvulnerability of going online and their online safety protections. Thus, the requisite stepdeals with identifying risks and upportunities of children go online, especially about how do children access the internet.In the present article, we focus on illustrating how and what children do when go online. Based on survey toward 215 childrens age 6-12 years old with various demographic backgrounds, this study describes time accesses, platforms, online activities, sites and risks of Indonesian children go online.Keywords: Children,Go Online, Indonesia

Abstract

Cyberbullying is closely related to technology and social media. Dissemination of information via the Internet and social media is much faster than the oral way. Cyberbullying is often done through social media and headlines news portals, which make the reader interested in reading, usually used excessive sentences that can make someone cornered. This research study is entitled «Discourse Cyberbullying of Florence Sihombing (Critical Discourse Analysis Teun A. van Dijk about Florence Sihombing in Cyberspace)». The purpose of this study was to determine the discourse on cyberbullying in the case of Florence Sihombing based on critical discourse analysis Teun A. Van Dijk. The methodology used in this research is the analysis of discourse, in which the author collects screenshots of cyberbullyer tweets on Twitter and headlines on online news portals that are associated with the case of Florence Sihombing, then associated with critical discourse analysis van Dijk. The results of this study showed the cyberbullying that happened to Florence Sihombing through the online news headlines and cyberbullyer’s tweets on Twitter can be explained through nine elements contained in the critical discourse analysis of van Dijk.Keywords : cyberbullying, social media, news headline, Twitter’s tweets, critical discourse Teun A.
